Google Fit uses the sensors built into your device to automatically track your activities like walking, biking and running. So, with this app, you can track your fitness goals and weight-loss progress over the past day, week and month. Google Fit app also known as Android Fit.

How to Use Google Fit App

  • First, Download and Install Google Fit App from Google Play Store.
  • Then you must agree to Google’s Terms of Service and turn on your location.
  • After adding your Google account. The app collects and shows some of your information like name, date of birth, etc.
  • Then you need to enter additional informations such as weight and height to start to activate your account.
  • Then, turn on Instant activity tracking on Google Fit.
  • Next, Google fit will show you 2 Goals to improve your health. Such as Move minutes and Heart Points.
  • Then it will show the details of these goals. Tap next to continue.
  • After setting all this, the app will show your activities.
  • You can check your activities per day, week or month.

Google Fit worked with the World Health Organization (WHO) and the American Heart Association (AHA). You can also sync Google Fit with some popular apps like Runkeeper, Strava, Runtastic, MapMyFitness, Mindbody, and Headspace. Also syncing with some Life Fitness exercise equipment like Xiaomi Mi bands.
