Tata is Indian company which now own Jaguar one of the biggest manufacturing company in our world. In earlier time Tata had its good days with Sumo, Safari which were the good looking muscular SUV s. Tata Sumo was one of the cars that were everywhere at that time. Safari was one of the stylish design which attracted a lot of young generations that time. Tata Hexa Test Drive But after Toyota introduced Innova into the market Tata’s SUVs was gone into a little darkness. But Tata was not ready to give up Sumo was introduced again and again with lots of changes, Safari also received lots of changes with the changes of the world. Tata ARIA was one of the new models which Tata managed to introduce to the market which couldn’t get enough attention from markets. Safari was introduced as Safari storm, but like ARIA it was not a model that could make a comeback for Tata. In a time the Toyota Innova’s kingdom, Tata is raising a voice against him.
HEXA- the new luxury MUV by Tata is ready, and it is going shake the market by making Toyota Innova to make a little fear. The Multi Utility Vehicle is conceived by its predecessor ARIA, which is because HEXA was made in the platform of ARIA. The frontal design got an aggressive look which is amazing which is not seen on the other MUVs. The frontal design is conceived by the muscular look and the headlights which are made out by swooping projector headlamps with LED light which made the HEXA look like it is looking at us in anger. Tata managed to keep eyes on each of its features on the exterior. The black cladding around the wheel arches and the 19inch beautiful alloy wheels pronounced wheel arches which are managed to give the lower portion of the design more aggressive.
The interior of HEXA is luxurious with the plush cabin which welcomes the passengers. There is more than enough leg space for every passenger. The number of seats is optional with 6 and 7 seats. Tata managed to make HEXA more luxurious with the introduction of new materials for seats. The dashboard is very beautiful with the use of leather and the door panel also managed to get the touch of leather. The there is a touch of chromium on the AC vent and around the dashboard which made more luxurious feel to the car. The car has a stereo which is a touch screen which also used to provide the information such as navigation, smartphone connectivity, etc.
The car also packs safety features like airbags, Anti-lock braking system(ABS), new generation electronic stability program(ESP), brake assist, electronic brake force distribution(EBD), Engine immobilizer, traction control, rear parking sensor with camera assistance. The front and back break come with disc breaks. Front suspension comes with double wishbone type with coil springs, and the rear suspension comes with coil spring type 5 rigid link axle.
The HEXA is available in 3 variants which are XE, XM, XT which adds more features to every model. The features such are automatic headlamps, daytime running lights, etc.
Tata HEXA XM & XT will be powered 2.2litre VARICOR 320 engine. The engine will have the maximum power of [email protected],000rpm and a maximum torque of 400Nm @1,700rpm- 2,700rpm. The SUV will be available in 6-speed automatic and 6-speed manual transmission. Maximum power of the engine will be [email protected],000rpm and will have a maximum torque of [email protected],000-27,000rpm. The XE variant will come with the 5-speed manual transmission. HEXA is expected to have the mileage of 13-14kmpl in city and over 17kmpl on highways. XE variants will be having 2.2-litre VARICOR 400 engine.
The muscular SUV comes with the 4788mm length, 1900mm width, 1785mm height. The wheelbase of the car is 2850mm and will have a ground clearance of 200mm. Fuel tank capacity of the car is 60litre. Turning radius of the car is 5.75m.
The car is expected to launch on 18 January 2017 with the price tag of 13.8lakh to 19.43lakh with various variants of the car. The Tata is planning to make a challenge to Innova. The pre-booking is open in every showroom.
