Yamaha has been the favorite brand of a motorcycle which was accepted by the youths. The reason behind is the one and only FZ. Even after the introduction of R15 and FZ-S the sale of FZ 25 remained same, but as the time goes Yamaha faced very difficult time with the arrival of KTM and different models of BAJAJ. When KTM introduced DUKE 200 into the market rapidly youngsters were attracted towards it. This led Yamaha to introduce scooters and get their income from that.

Now the Japanese company is getting ready to take the market sale of 9% at least with a breed of R15, R3 and of course FZ. FZ 25 the new beast with the power of 250cc fuel injected single cylinder engine is going to race among the rivals. The bike will power up in a 5-speed gearbox to reach 100km/h in 9.7sec. The aggressive front looks will make others feel the presence of this bike. The front design is not only got its looks but also help in aerodynamics. The bike will offer the rider 21bhp and 20nm torque. The tank is 14 liter which will help the rider in the time of long drives.

The automatic headlight is LED light which will provide a clear view in night drives. The Tale lamp is also nice which makes the back end design nice. The exhaust is same that were seen on the old version of FZ’s. The handle bar is little low in this model compared to the older versions which will provide more comfort for the rider. The wheelbase is also high compared to the older versions which are 160meters. The split seats will add more looks to this bike as the instrument panel which is fully digitalized.

The bike is promising a mileage of 43km/liter which is due to the help of blue core technology. This much mileage and power combination will attract youngster towards this model. The telescopic suspension in the front is same as its ancestors and mono-shock in the back will provide the rod comfort. The breaking system is also upgraded with disc brakes with a dual caliper on a front and single caliper in backside. ABS option is not available in this model which is really fault made by Yamaha. The bike will weight 148kg and will be available in white, black and blue color.

 

The Yamaha is trying to make its point and informing another brand that is they are still in this race. We can expect so many models from every brand due to the need of riders changes so they have to adapt or die.
