Bharati Airtel Introduced a new Wifi Calling feature: How to activate it!

Smartphone users count increasing every year. And technology is also gets updated every day. We have seen lots of ups and downs in the telecom industry in the past few years. After the launching of Reliance Jio, other telecom operators are very struggled to be alive in Telecom Industry. Because Reliance Jio provides mindblowing features to its users. So the other telecom operators are very strived for being alive in Telecom Industry. They also introduce new offers and features. Bharathi Airtel is one of the best competitors of Jio. Airtel introduced a new Wi-fi calling feature, the company claims that they are the first telecom company that makes wifi calling service live across India.

After that, Reliance Jio is also offering free voice calls and video calls over wifi-network. The service is only available in India. Users can’t use wifi calling features to call someone who lived in Abroad.

The Airtel Wifi calling service is available for both Android and iOS devices, but not available on all devices. You can activate Wifi calling service on your device if it supporting this feature. Check your device settings to enable wifi calling feature.

Follow the below steps to enable Wifi calling feature

  • Open ‘Settings’ in your device
  • Tap on Connections
  • Look for Wifi calling and tap toggle icon turn to enable the feature.

With the above steps, you can’t find the wifi calling option in your device, enter ‘wifi calling’ in your settings search bar and tap on search to look for the option.

Airtel announced that this Wifi calling service is now available in over 100 smartphones for its customers. So Let’s check the list of phones compatible with this facility:

  • All Apple phones including iPhone 6S and above.
  • Samsung S10, Samsung S10e, Samsung  M20
  • Samsung J6, Samsung A10s, Samsung On6, Samsung M30s
  • OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T
  • OnePlus 7, OnePlus 7 Pro, OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro
  • Xiaomi Redmi K20, Redmi K20 Pro, POCO F1, etc.
