BSNL is the one and only India government-owned telecom company. Also, it is the largest provider of fixed telephony and broadband services with more than 60% market share and is the fifth largest mobile telephony provider in India. After the launching of Jio, a very high business competition is creating in between the major telecom companies. BSNL also faces this competition. Currently, other telecom companies are offering 4G VoLTE services for users. But BSNL mobile customers only get the 3G network connection now. The 4G VoLTE service can give extra faster browsing experience when compared to 3G. And now BSNL revealed that BSNL launching 4G VoLTE Services soon, confirmed by BSNL Chairman and MD Anupam Shrivastava.


The reports say, First, the BSNL started this 4g services in Kerala and then it expands to all other states. BSNL will launch the 4G VoLTE services in the current financial year, 2017-18. The Anupam Shrivastava tweeted that “#TalkToBSNLCMD 4G will be introduced in coming months. Your suggestion regarding tariff will be considered appropriately.”. If we check the Data, Voice, Tariff plans BSNL gives the best plan in India. It serves better than others. This leading telecom company has around 10 crores of customers now. And BSNL is planning to set up 10,000 4G towers as of May 2018.

5 MHz spectrum and 2100 MHz bandwidth used for introducing the BSNL 4G VoLTE service. And BSNL estimates that a 5 Mhz of the spectrum is required to increase 4G services in the same manner.The Reliance JIo is first to introduce the 4G VoLTE service in India. And then other telecom companies are further started the 4G VoLTE Service. And now the public sector telecom provider BSNL also decided to start the LTE-based 4G service in India. The VoLTE expands voice over LTE.
