Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana
Under the Skill India campaign (Which was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 15 July 2015) Government of India takes initiatives to train over 40 crore people in India in different skills by 2022. The Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) is one of such an initiative taken by Government of India under this scheme.

About PM Vikas Yojana
PM Kaushal Vikas Yojana is the flagship scheme for skill training of youth to be implemented by the new Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship through the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC). This scheme aims to cover 10 million youth during the period 2016 – 2020. The Training and Assessment fees are completely paid by the Government is another benefit for the students who are joining this scheme.
Eligibility Criteria
Any Indian citizen can apply for this Skill development program who is an unemployed youth, college/school dropout. Also, the person who submits and verify the valuable identity proof like Aadhaar/ Voter id and Bank account details.
The certificates can’t measure the absolute percentage of person skill. If you have the skill, use it and develop it to make a better future. PM Kaushal Vikas Yojana helps you to develop your skill in your interested area. - Go to the official website of PM Kaushal Vikas Yojana – http://pmkvyofficial.org/
- Then click on Find a Training Center menu.
- Here you can check the training center as per your career sector, job roles and location wise.
- For example, If you want to search the training center as per the job sector, Choose your preferred sector that you like to join for the training program from the dropdown menu and click submit.
- Then you can see a list of training centers.
