Now, the UIDAI (Unique Identification Authority of India ) announced that they have launched a new version of the mAadhaar application with some updates. mAdhaar app is available on both Android and iOS platforms. UIDAI informed that Adhaar card users who carry the mAadhaar app on their device should uninstall the application and immediately install its new version of the app. In its new version, the mAadhaar App will help you to carry your Aadhaar Card information in the form of a soft copy. mAadhaar app is a multilingual application. It supports 13 languages including 12 Indian languages ( Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannad, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu ) and English.
To use the mAadhaar application, you should provide your Aadhaar card information to register in this application. Also, an Indian citizen with or without Aadhaar can install the App in their smartphones. By using the mAadhaar app, users can download the Aadhaar card, order a reprint, update address, download offline eKYC, show or scan QR code, verify Aadhaar, verify mail/email, retrieve UID/EID, request for Address Validation Letter and more. Also, users can lock or unlock their Aadhaar or Biometric Authentication.
The mAadhaar app needs Android version 5.0 and iOS version 10 to perform in the respective cellular devices.
